Enhanced security features

If stolen, the EMP-82e becomes useless. It requires a password to be entered whenever it has been disconnected from mains power and it can only be operated with the remote control - there isn't even an on/off button on the projector. Just keep the password confidential and the remote control in a secure place when the projector is not in use - this also prevents unauthorised use.

To make sure potential thieves know that there is no point stealing your EMP-82e, there's a bold security warning message on the projector case and it's supplied with warning window stickers and posters.

The EMP-82e displays a further warning message each time it is powered on, and whenever it has no input to display. The message says that the projector is probably stolen if it is not being used in an educational establishment, but you can easily customise it with the name and contact details of your organisation – if you have the password.

Fixed or mobile solutions

The EMP-82e can be permanently fixed to classroom ceilings using optional mounts either for integrating with whiteboard systems or for general projecting onto a screen , blackboard or wall. It's lightweight (2.8kg) and the enhanced security features also make it an ideal mobile solution for moving from classroom to classroom as required. This product can also be monitored remotely via the network, using a 3rd party device.

Multi-media and audio capability

The Epson EMP-82 accepts input data up to SXGA and from 2 PCs, allowing you to conveniently switch between them. The built-in speaker offers excellent audio support, and optional cables are available to connect to a range of other sources, such as DVD players and digital cameras.
